Adtemp™ 429 Non-Contact Thermometer

The Adtemp™ 429 Non-Contact Thermometer features an infrared sensor that reads temperature from the middle of the forehead with no skin contact required for a safe and comfortable experience that minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

Power On & Self-Check

• Press Measure button → screen shows all symbols, then “00” with two beeps → ready.

Select Mode (Body/Object)

• Press Human/Object button to toggle.
• Use Human for body temperature.

Positioning for Measurement

• Hold 4–6 cm (1.5–2.5 in) from center of forehead, between eyebrows.

Taking Measurement

• Press Measure → move slowly until rotating dashes appear & continuous beeps.
• Amber light flashes & beep confirms correct distance.
• Display shows temperature (~1 second).

Automatic Power-Off

• Turns off automatically after ~30 sec of inactivity.

Memory Function

• Stores last 30 readings.
• Press Memory to view readings with mode indicator.

Clearing Memory

• Power on → hold Memory 3 sec → LCD shows cleared, beep confirms.

Battery Info

• Uses 2 AAA batteries (included).
• Replace when battery icon or “Lo” appears.
